BESS Unit Testing

At FRA I was tasked with working on the construction of numerous test systems including the one seen above. These projects allowed me to see from start to finish how to interpret, implement and analyze data all while conforming strictly to the code.

Construction:

• Used large variety of power tools to build and construct braces, roofs, piping, walls etc.

• Charged, wired and placed large EV and BESS power units

• Effectively divided work to ensure all groups meet clients strict deadlines

• Reloaded tests efficiently to increase the quantity ran per day

Wiring and Sensors:

• Organized and attached over 70 Type-K Thermocouples to ensure proper temperature data collection

• Use custom DAQ interfaces for pressure sensors, piezoelectric pressure sensor and thermocouples to merge collection of all sensors

• Deconstruct, attach Thermocouples, reassemble and charge data-center batteries in order to properly map thermal runaway
