Junior ME with a EE minor rockets, mechatronics, and prototyping
I’m a junior Mechanical Engineering student with an Electrical Engineering minor, focused on the design and implementation of systems between disciplines. At Pitt SOAR, I lead hands-on projects such as designing and validating active airbrakes and ensuring flight readiness. I have also flown both my L1 & L2 TRA certification flights in which I design, build and fly a personal rocket with onboard flight computers. I enjoy bridging mechanics with embedded electronics to construct complex systems. I thrive in fast, iterative environments where design, simulate and prototyping are at the forefront. Whether it’s utilizing DFM in parts, integrating 4-20mA pressure sensors, or tuning a control parameter from flight logs, I’m motivated by building systems in all aspects of engineering.
